My Story
My name is Kehinde Adejumo, and I recently graduated from the University at Albany with a BA in English and a minor in Creative Writing. I'm continuing at UAlbany this fall as part of the combined BA/MA program in English, having already begun graduate-level coursework during my final undergraduate semester.
I'm a freelance writer with bylines in Parlé Magazine, Glitter Magazine, and the Albany Student Press, where I focus on pop culture, music, and media representation. My work for Glitter Magazine has been reposted by artists such as Qing Madi, Madison Beer, and Skylar Simone. During the 2024-2025 academic year, I served as editor of ARCH Magazine, where I reviewed submissions, led prose selection, and contributed original work. I also had the opportunity to write for UAlbany Magazine, profiling alumnus Fabian Ferguson, a children's book author and advocate for Black representation in literature.
In my free time, I love reading contemporary young adult romance novels, watching TV, and discovering new music.
